Determination of Below Poverty Line Population based on the Saxena Committee & also suggested methodology to arrive on estimates at block level.
The estimation of goods traffic was done with the help of a) primary survey related to commodity movement and b) analysis of relevant secondary data. Through Primary survey, the target groups were covered i) transport driver/owner at the exit point, ii) transport agencies/companies (at the point of origin) of the selected routes). A total of 1100 transport agencies/companies were surveyed for this purpose.

India Health Report 2010

India Health Report 2010 provided a broad direction for India’s health sector. It also examined the status of health in India by bringing together data and information from government documents, health economics and policy literature, and a host of other sources. It critically examines the performance of various components of this sector.
This was a baseline survey aimed to improve the socio-economic conditions of the farmers through various intervention programmes related to farm specific activities and to capture the current situation of the farmers in terms of farm level activities, income-expenditure, schooling and other socio-demographic aspects. Through this study, A total of 4800 small and marginal farmer households were selected across 240 villages of Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh, Amravati district of Maharashtra (cotton farmers) and Bundi & Bhilwara district of Rajasthan (corn farmers).
