Piyush Mathur is the President, Nielsen, India Region (which includes India, Bangladesh, Nepal, & Sri Lanka). He is responsible in leading Nielsen’s business activities across the Region. Most recently, he was the Managing Director, South Asia responsible for Nielsen’s business across the region. In addition, he has held senior capacities role across the Indian sub-continent as well as in the Middle East and North Africa, including head of the Customized Unit in Egypt, Country Manager in the Indian sub-continent and Research Director heading Media and Internet studies. Piyush is a prolific speaker with a diversified understanding on local, regional and global marketplaces crossing different businesses.
Prashant Singh is the Managing Director for Nielsen India region and leads the Retail Measurement Services and Analytic Consulting business. In addition, he heads our businesses in the sub-region including Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. As an expanded role, he leads the Media profile spanning television, print, online, telecom and the Indian Readership Survey (IRS), which measures readership of newspapers and magazines, as well as the consumption of other media. With expertise ranging from rural Indian consumer insights to social media and smartphone analytics, Prashant is a frequent speaker at various marketing events and believes that teaching is the best form of learning..
